Applications to the first ANZ Innovyz START program closed at midnight Friday, April 20. We received 134 applications to our first program! I was hoping for 150, but considering the fact that it’s only been 2 months since we announced ANZ Innovyz START, we’re pretty happy with the outcome.

We had a big rush to the finish! We got nearly 50 applications in the last week (about half in the last 24 hours!) Next time we have to figure out how to get more people to apply earlier!

A few of the companies who applied don’t meet our technology screen and others don’t have a team (the founder is still trying to do everything). But even so, we have a very strong set of companies from which to choose. We’re now in the process of contacting the semi-finalists for Skype interviews. Stay tuned……
